A few weeks without internet...

Hey Guys & Gals....

Its been a few weeks of living in the Caravan in various places in France & enjoying the company of Myself & Mum.
We've enjoyed baguettes & eclairs, a bottle of wine, sat and injured the rain & thunderstorms!

We've stayed in some lovely places, all with Church steeples & Bells that dong every 15mins or hour or half hour... or just whenever they feel like it.

You get a sense that this country still really is a very Catholic place. There is this overwhelming feeling that it is still very much France & nothing at all like England with its super multi cultural populace.

To the fun parts...

We've stayed in some random place that I got lost in & another place which I can't for the life of me remember how to spell, but started with a P! Then Brionne for 3 nights, after chatting to a lovely couple from up north in the UK, we finally had an idea of where the 'Camping De Municipal' were and so took a few pics of the book that they had bought from the Caravan club (which we are members of... DOH...

An idea of what we now have!

We then found a lovely little place called Gacé where we have stayed for the last 2 weeks.

Whilst staying in Gacé I thought that La Man had just happened as there seemed to be an influx of GB cars with stickers for La Mans stuck on, so didn't really think anything of it.

Went for a wander down to the bakers to get our daily french stick, left mum chatting with some English guys at the camp site, only to come back with the french stick & find out that La Man was this weekend (last weekend). So Mum being all excited about the opportunity to go hadn't realised that the weekend was actually tomo (this was Friday 21st). So we emptied the contents of the Van into the awning Friday night, woke up at 6.30am on Saturday, filled the caravan with all the stuff & took our bedding and some food!

Enjoyed a lovely hour & half drive to la Mans & spent another 3-4 hours trying to find parking once we had found where to get the tickets from.

Was definitely worth the trip & got to hear a bit of Earth Wind & Fire from the comfort of the van beds we had made.

A few pics... (vids to be uploaded soon!)

Peace 1 <3
