We stayed on a little Cow farm in the lovely setting of Somerset for 5 days last week. It was a good sized acreage for the 5 caravans.. Plenty of space to spread yourself around and still be far away from your neighbours to be able to make almost as much noise as you like... In the spirit of being a DJ I had to set-up some gear and have a little mix, after all what's the point in having it all with you if you don't use it right!
In the bathroom on the farm for the Campers was a sign that suggested that you could get 'Cream Tea's' next door...
After spending a couple of hours riding our bikes around Weston-super-mare we decided to give 'next door' a go...
£4 for the most delightful fresh clotted cream Tea, scone & slice of cake, fresh strawberries, strawberry jam and did I mention the amazing clotted cream! The lovely lady was the sister of the farm we we're staying on. The cakes & scones were next level, even by Mums standards!
There was signage made up but in the spirit of wanting it to seem more epic and in lines with what we experienced I volunteer'd Mum to make her a new sign...
Unfortunately she was out when we were leaving, so left it with her sisters mother-in-law and also posted a lil letter through the door.
So to the lady on the Corner of Dutch Road, You know who you are, Thank You Very Much for the lovely Clotted Cream Tea, I hope you enjoy the sign and can get them lovely cakes and scones (along with the amazing clotted cream) to lots of lovely people.
We also happened to go to Cheddar on our way to look at a little acreage plot, was a bit on an angle... got a nice picture of the church there though!
Big ups Devon and Somerset, you make South East England seem very flat, boring and dull!
Peace 1 <3
