Its been and gone already I hear you think...
However the town still exists even when the Festival is not happening...
We're currently staying in another lovely Farm CL, this time with some cows & many tractors driving down tiny country lanes with massive trailers towed behind them full of wheat or some such stuffs! I luckily only managed to have 2 follow me & came head to head with one tractor minus trailer.. that was bad enough mind!
Having tried to be clever yesterday cleaning my watch, I took the back off to get the grime off and was then no way able to get the back on, with the power of the internet & our friend Google, found a lil Jewelers in the town to get the back put back on & Mum's watch battery replaced (it had died the 2nd day whilst being in France!) Thank You Jons Jewelers, Glastonbury.
After getting our time pieces back in working order we then headed for a lovely 'little' walk up a nice 'little' hill called The Tor.
If you've ever been to Glastonbury & not walked up it then your missing out.. if you haven't been to Glastonbury and you get the chance to go I'd highly suggest taking the walk to the top. However don't do as we did and drive around for half hour trying to find parking near it as you simply can't (as we found out).. however there is a cheeky little hill opposite the top of the high street that had a good few free parking places ;)
When we got to the top we were lucky enough to meet a 'young' man whom was happy enough to tell us where and what all of the things were that we were looking at from the top, I say young he was old enough to be my grandad, but either way It was nice to know what we were looking at & gave Mum a bit of a chuckle & some one to chat to for 3 hours, as Mums tend to do..
This, however, gave me the chance to have a little wander around the top & take some lovely photo's.
Also managed to have a nice Meditation in the glorious sunshine too.
